What is Pharmacy Services NC II
Enrolling in this short course will give an individual ample knowledge and skills in receiving, analyzing, understanding, and dispensing prescriptions. Likewise, he or she will also learn other skills in preparing medication (prescribed and supervised by doctors), monitor stock control and execute maintenance and housekeeping through the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
The basic competencies include participating in workplace communication, practice career professionalism, implement occupational health and safety procedures, and be able to work with a team.
Likewise, in this course the student will learn how to meet the customers’ needs, identify prescription discrepancies, documenting dosage administration, collecting pertinent data of a patient, contamination control, and performing proper stock waste disposal.
Requirements for admission of Pharmacy Services NC II
Anyone who is interested to enroll in TESDA Pharmacy Services NC IIcourse should comply with the following requirements:
- · NSO copy of birth certificate
- · Copy of college or high school diploma
- · Form 137 or Transcript of Records (certified true copy)
- · 2×2 or 1×1 photos
- · Certificate of good moral character
The course duration of completion is about 271 hours. Completing the course and getting certified offers a promising career as a pharmacy assistant in the following facilities:

- · Personal and health care stores
- · Mail order or retail pharmacies
- · Nursing homes
- · Assisted living facilities
After completing the course, an individual will undergo a competency assessment prior to graduation. Once you pass the assessment you will be granted the National Certificate or NC II.
