Recently the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) has announced that its free pieces of training which will prioritize the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) who are returning home, displaced, and those who have not left the country.
The TESDA Deputy Director John Bertiz said;
“Ang maganda po niyan ‘yong pwede silang magbenta.
‘Yong kanilang mga natutunang produkto, packaging, tapos kung paano po pagandahin ‘yan sa internet, itinuturo [rin] po ‘yan ng TESDA (What’s nice is that they can sell. What they learn about the products, packaging, and how to make the products appealing in the internet, TESDA teaches all those),”
The newly-launched TESDA Mobile Application will definitely the big boost for much easier registration for those OFWs or individuals who want to study. Aside from that, our OFWs can also apply for online classes through TESDA Online Program so that even if they are in other countries. they can develop their skills and later issue a TESDA certification.,
While the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has encouraged OFWs to register through its online information system to expedite assistance in terms of transportation and livelihood.
